goDriving app for iPhone and iPad

Have you ever wished that there was an easier way to send your BMW an address directly from Apple Maps or Google Maps? Now there is!

Instead of searching for an address or business in Google or Apple and then needing to open BMW Remote app and re-search that address, you can now easily Share the address from within Google or Apple Maps.

I chose to develop this application after several frustrating experience getting the destination into my x5 nav system. The Remote app is pretty awful for this feature and talking to the car (voice recognition) is like talking into one of those automated customer services phone systems... So now when I am trying to find an address or business in Google or Apple, I can easily send the destination in a few easy steps.

Please note: If you have recently created an account for the My BMW ConnectedDrive portal (www.bmwusa.com/mybmwconnecteddrive), you must log in to the goDriving app using those credentials.

The goDriving app can be used exclusively by customers with an active BMW Assist contract. 2014 and later vehicles, except X6, also require that the vehicle is equipped with the Remote Services option (option code 6AP).
In order to use the BMW eDrive Services the option code 6AG is required.

If you are able to use the BMW Remote app, this app will work for you!

Currently tested and verified to work in the USA. If you are in a different region and are able to test-drive, I will update app to work in your region.
